Kate Mills

Kate Mills our MC for the evening, is an ex-journalist turned CEO in the for-purpose sector. After 20 years of print journalism including a stint as the editor of Business Review Weekly, she left journalism to set up her own business finding jobs for skilled women looking to return to the workforce. 

This was Kate’s first entry into the for-purpose/social enterprise sector, where she uses her business skills to pursue better social outcomes. She is currently the CEO of the Property Industry Foundation where she works with the property and construction industry to build homes for youth homelessness.

Chris was appointed as Movember’s first Chief Experience Officer to establish and lead the Movember Experience Team, in early 2021. The team includes the marketing, customer experience, communications, digital, data and insights teams and enables Movember to deliver its goal to be the leading global voice in Men’s health.

Marnie Baker’s 32 year career in banking can easily be described in one word; illustrious.

Before becoming Chief Executive Officer of the Bank in 2018, Marnie had responsibility for an extensive number of business areas including her Executive role of Chief Customer Officer, where she was at the helm of the customer strategy that has shaped the Bank’s noted growth and transformation in recent times.   

Recognised for her unique and authentic leadership style, Marnie is an advocate for building strong communities of all kinds. As one of only 10 female Chief Executive Officers in the ASX200, Marnie has long been a leading proponent of the Bank’s philosophy of feeding into prosperity, not off it. 

It’s this philosophy that is central to every facet of Marnie’s work on and off the balance sheet.
