Following the AMI Constitution and the Corporate Governance Principles, an election will be held to determine four Directors for the AMI Board of Directors. This means members are able to have a say in who will represent their interests at the national level.   
 
Professional members, Professional CPMs and Fellow CPMs, that are currently financial (paid up members), are able to nominate themselves and are eligible to vote in the upcoming election. 
 
The Board Director nomination and election dates are as follows: 

  • 16 June – Opening of nominations for Directors 
  • 1 July – Close of nominations for Directors 
  • 7 August – Opening of election polls for voting 
  • 21 August – Close of election polls 
  • 26 August – Announcement of election results; New Director induction commences 
  • 23 October – Annual General Meeting (AGM) – New Board will be effective from the conclusion of the AGM 
The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Institute, ensuring its financial viability and managing the risk associated with the activities of the Institute. The Board is also responsible for ensuring that the AMI fulfils its legal and financial obligations.
