Get the big picture of data analytics. This micro course includes self-paced digital learning and a workshop that will provide you with an overview of the process of data analytics. This high-level view of the process will help you understand what it takes to draw valuable business insights from data.

Introduction to data analytics takes you through the key stages of the data analytics process and uses a blended learning approach to enrich your understanding of what happens at each stage. The micro course includes activities to help you apply the process to a business problem in your own organisation, to see how you could apply the process to gain new insights.

This micro course introduces the steps and key concepts in data analysis and by attending, you’ll be able to:

  • Walk through the data analytics process with readings, videos, and interactive learning
  • Apply what you’re learning to your own business problem, to see how data analytics can help you
  • Join a virtual workshop led by a data analytics expert to see how the process works.

This micro course consists of 4 hours of self-paced digital learning course and a virtual 2-hour live practical application workshop.

The above self-paced timings are an estimate. This course provides the flexibility to access the online content at any time and study at your own pace. The time it takes you to complete the digital learning component will depend on your level of prior knowledge, competency level and pace of study.
