The 2021 AMI Marketing Excellence Experience event is designed to inspire industry members and foster thought leadership.

Highlights of the event will include case studies on the successful campaigns from the NSW & ACT 2020 Marketing Excellence Award-winning campaigns - Space For Your Best Work: NSW State Winner for Integrated Marketing Communications Program and GX Ginninderry Experience: ACT National Winner for Event or Brand Experience.

The event will also be a fantastic opportunity to be the first to hear who are the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, and International finalists of the 2021 AMI Awards for Marketing Excellence.

Riverview Projects (ACT) & Coordinate Group: GX – The Ginninderry Experience
National winner for Event or Brand Experience

When Ginninderry, proposed to be the first ACT/NSW border region, set the challenge to deliver a display village with a difference, the marketing team identified an opportunity to develop a differentiated product and recognised an opportunity to position the village as an experiential marketing destination - inspire, educate and sell : the outcome was GX – The Ginninderry Experience.

GX has gone on to become a display village like no other. Ginninderry’ s positioning had been established as “Inspiring a new way of living” and GX is the place you go to be inspired, with a range of sustainability initiatives, and access to a local arts trail. The team also digitised and enhanced the experience by developing the GX App. The App allows visitors to plan their visit, find out more about a home, sustainability features, a product or artist and build their own favourites list.

Dexus: Space For Your Best Work
NSW winner for Integrated Marketing Communications Program

Dexus is Australia's largest owner and manager of office space, and it focuses on understanding what its customers value. The 'Space for your best work' campaign amplified this customer experiential insight underscored by architectural psychology proof-points.

Find out how Dexus used 3D computer-generated images in both static and animated media, with sparks of creativity, explosions of innovation and contemplative thought bubbles as illustrative effects to highlight the positive impact that Dexus workspaces have on those who work in the organisation's buildings.

Raechelle Inman is the Chief Marketing Officer at Dexus. Her responsibilities include brand, sponsorships, digital, consumer and business segments for the office, industrial, retail and healthcare asset classes. Raechelle also oversees marketing to institutional, retail and listed investor audiences through the Funds management business.

Raechelle has more than 20 years’ experience in leadership roles in the property, financial services and telecommunications industries, and in the media. Previous to Dexus she held senior strategic marketing and communication roles at Commonwealth Bank, Telstra and Destination NSW. She has also worked as a broadcast journalist for all Australian television networks covering major sporting events, and she continues to write for international sports journals.

Raechelle holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Sydney and has completed the Harvard Business School program ‘Leadership and Culture: DNA in an age of disruption’. Under Raechelle’s leadership the Dexus marketing team was named Team of the Year at the Australian Marketing Institute’s 2021 national awards.

Warren Apps brings more than 20 years of experience to his role leading Canberra’s largest marketing and advertising consultancy. His considered approach to everything he does – from strategic planning, business advisory, media and branding – has earned him the trust and respect of an impressive range of clients.

After 15 years of working for multi-national agencies, Warren joined Coordinate as Managing Director, leading some of Canberra’s most recognised brands and campaigns across sport, media, retail, energy, land development, property and government.

Through a highly strategic, integrated approach, he has driven highly successful campaigns that change the way people think and act. Campaigns that helped the Canberra Capitals win over more fans (as well as the WNBL Championships); inspired loyalty to a large energy retailer in the face of aggressive competition; and renewed faith in banks with Customer Owned Banking.
