Meet the presenters

Laura Logan, Digital Marketing Manager, StudyAdelaide is the National Winner of the 2025 AMI Marketing Excellence Awards in Customer Experience and Loyalty. Laura leads the digital strategy and team with the goal of raising awareness of Adelaide on the global stage. She has seven years’ experience delivering campaigns and content that shifts audiences’ perceptions, backed by data-informed decisions. In her previous roles at The University of Adelaide and now at StudyAdelaide, Laura has shaped how organisations consider the role of digital marketing and audience engagement as part of wider marketing and communication strategies. She is especially interested in the value that well executed digital experiences can have on a customer’s decision-making process, and using evidence to demonstrate this value.

Jessica Rattley, Marketing Manager, International, The University of Adelaide is a passionate strategic marketer with global leadership experience spanning 15 years across higher education, tourism, hospitality and retail sectors. Throughout her career, Jessica has led sales and marketing functions for premium brands and organisations including the University of Adelaide, Mayfair Hotel, RAA Travel, Tourism Tasmania, and most recently the new Adelaide University. Jessica’s expertise centres around developing and implementing effective strategic marketing plans and end-to-end marketing campaigns and initiatives that are audience-centric, insight-led and technology propelled. Jessica has demonstrated career success delivering leading brand and performance campaigns that exceed business targets, deliver return on investment and position businesses for long-term growth.

Eliza Oatway, Marketing Communications Partner, Flinders University leads strategic campaigns to grow the university’s global brand and engage international audiences. With experience across both agency and in-house roles spanning education, tourism and fast-moving consumer goods, she’s passionate about using data and creativity to craft campaigns that drive results.
At Flinders, Eliza plays a key role in developing targeted marketing strategies that nurture prospective students through every stage of their journey. Her work includes amplifying student voices through content-led campaigns, collaborating with partners like StudyAdelaide to grow awareness of South Australia, and leveraging first-party data to support recruitment. Eliza is also an alumni of AMI's Emerging Marketers Program. She is looking forward to sharing her journey and chatting with students about what it's like to work in higher education marketing.

Tom Miller, Founder and Principal of Outta Spatial, a digital agency specialising in data-led marketing, automation and analytics, works with organisations to build meaningful connections with their audiences through research and technology. Outta Spatial's collaboration with StudyAdelaide demonstrates how being data-led generates valuable insights for member institutions, while connecting international students with the information they need.
